The application to designate the Headington Neighbourhood Forum is being consulted on by the City Council for a 6 week period running until the 3rd July 2014. Comments should consider whether the neighbourhood forum is appropriate to be designated. The next Headington Neighbourhood Forum meeting will take place on Tuesday 29th April 2014 in St Andrew’s School, London Road (next to the Co-op) from 7 pm until 9 pm. ALL WELCOME.
Come for an update on the development of our local plan, including news of the City Council’s decision on official recognition of the Forum, our Project Manager’s report, work by the Transport Policy Group, Brookes Planning student involvement, and more.

The Steering Group, with the financial support of Headington Action,is seeking to appoint a Project Manager to assist in the development of the Neighbourhood Plan.  Click on the advertisement for the post  and draft contract for more information.

Our application to Oxford City Council will now be the subject of a consultation, undertaken by the Council and as required by the Localism Act, the details of which have been announced by the Council on its website.  A copy of our application is available here.
The decision on Headington Neighbourhood Forum’s official designation by Oxford City Council’s Executive Board is due on 14th May 2014.  Click here for details.

Forum Meeting

The Forum Meeting on Thursday 17 October 2013 adopted the proposed boundary and constitution of the Forum.  Check these out in Our Area, Our Area/Map and The Forum/Constitution on this website.
Discussion on some of the majors issues to be addressed in the Plan took place during this meeting.  Click on the Agenda and Draft Report for details.

The first AGM of the Forum was to have taken place in January 2014 but we have been advised that Oxford City Council will decide of the Forum’s official designation in March or April and so the first AGM will be scheduled after that.

Update: the City Council’s decision will be taken in May.
